After the opening sequence, the first shoot is a close up on a ringing phone in what appears to be someone’s living room with a heartbeat edited over the top. After the phone has rang once, a hand picks it up and the camera moves to revile the woman who has answered it. The shot that is used on the woman is a mid-shot focusing on her answering the phone. In the same shot there is small dialogue between her and the person on the phone, after she says hello the camera zooms into a close up shot of the woman who now realizes that it is a wrong number. The next shot follows her walking away from the phone and camera before stopping and turning back to face the pone because it has started to ring again. During the same scene, she stops and pauses looking at the phone before walking back and answering the phone again. When she answers it this time the man on the other end admits that he has phoned the wrong number and wants to apologise, when she accepts his apology and is about to hang up he asks her not to because he wants to talk to her, but she tells him to ring someone else and speak to them and then hangs up. The following shot is of a full screen shot of a tree which slowly moves down to reveal the front of the house. After this scene, the shot cuts back into the house and into a close up of a hob being lit with a popcorn pan placed on top of it. This is followed by the camera zooming out to show the woman from before and the phone ringing again. The shot ends by the woman turning to go and answer it. Once she has picked up the phone she walks back to the kitchen followed by the camera. Once back at the hob she stops and shakes the popcorn pan before placing it back down on the hob. The camera then follows her to a table that she leans on behind her. The dialog in this scene is her talking to the other person about their favourite scary film. When she is lent against the table she starts to play with a knife whist telling the person on the other end of the line that her favourite scary movie is Halloween. Then the shot cuts back to the popcorn pan to see that it is rising, you can still hear them talking on the phone. The last shot shows the woman walking out of the room whilst still on the phone.
